The first step to adhere coating to color coated galvanized sheet is the wetting of the coating on substrate surface. Wet coating can replace air and water originally adhered to the surface of color coated galvanized sheet. Thus the solvent can play dissolution and swelling action on the substrate surface.
If the film-forming resin of coating and the solubility parameter of substrate surface are properly chosen, an interactive mixing layer will be formed between substrate surface and film. It is very important for the good adhesion of coating.
The adhesion construction of color coated steel sheet is only the first step of the coating filming in coating technique. The next step is to finish the solidified continuous film process. To complete the whole filming process which is generally called as drying or solidification.
CAMELSTEEL found during production that the process is the core of coating filming. Coatings of different forms and components have their own filming mechanisms which are decided by the property of film material used by coatings.
