The loop of color coated production usually have following forms: horizontal loop, vertical loop, loop pitcher and spiral loop. The following will briefly introduce the features of these loop :
1. Horizontal loop : This loop is usually set above the equipment or under the floor. It covers an small area, also has a large storage capacity and simple structure. This loop is suitable for the unit that the length direction is limited in workshop.
2. Vertical loop : Also known as a loop tower. It’s the most suitable storing device for the thin steel strip. And it’s also the loop device of color coated production line in CAMELSTEEL. Its advantage is to obtain a large filling sleeve under the condition of a small occupation space, and easy to control the running and tension of steel strip.
When the belt broken, braking the upper steering roller, then the strip can continue to maintain a good state belt. The vertical loop is divided into upper roller group is moved, the lower roller group is fixed and the upper roller group is fixed, the lower roller group is moved the two forms. The advantage of lower roller set is fixed and upper roller group is moved is that it is convenient for the fixed roller set to be worn and repaired on the ground or in the pit.
3. Loop pitcher : It is the strip storage way that earlier used in continuous unit. There are many disadvantages of this method. The bending of each loop and the surface of the strip easily cause friction and affect the surface quality of the strip. In addition, the first pair of pinch rolls behind the loop pockets have too large mechanical load. On the one hand, it has to pull the strip out of the loop pocket, on the other hand, the sag in the cleaning section of the process section should be adjusted through it.
4. Spiral loop : This loop only applies to the continuous units with narrower width and lower speed, the friction between the steel strips have a great impact on the quality of products.
No matter what form of loop, the operation of the strip in the loop should be smooth. It can not be reversed and can not produce the phenomenon of tensile deformation and mutual friction.
